THE JOURNEY IN DETAIL

The Adriatic fjord and a new coast.

Boka Kotorska is often called Europe’s southernmost fjord: mountains of 1,500 metres, Venetian Kotor, islands with churches in the middle of the water. We leave Porto Montenegro in Tivat, tour the bay, then head south along the coast to Bar and cross into Albania — to Shëngjin, where yachts are still a rarity. Back along the same shore with stops at Budva and Sveti Stefan.

  • Kotor: the old town and the climb to St John’s fortress
  • Our Lady of the Rocks off Perast
  • Crossing the maritime border into Albania
  • Sveti Stefan from the sea
