Thirty thousand islands.
The Stockholm archipelago is roughly thirty thousand islands and skerries, smooth granite, pines and tideless water. We moor the Swedish way: bow to the rock, anchor off the stern, plank onto the stone. From Bullandö we head via Grinda and Finnhamn to Möja and Sandhamn, Sweden’s sailing capital, and return past the outer skerries. Short distances, and light evenings almost until midnight.
- Mooring bow-to a granite rock
- Sandhamn: the KSSS club and sailing history since 1897
- Sauna and swimming off the granite slabs at Finnhamn
- The outer skerries of Bullerö
