Northern Vietnam, without the rush.
The northern loop through Ha Giang's limestone passes, the Cao Bang valleys, Ban Gioc waterfall and Ba Be Lake. The programme assumes you ride your own motorcycle; travelling as a passenger can be discussed separately.

Join a group or arrange a separate departure for your own team. Before travelling, we get to know each other, discuss everyone's experience and find suitable dates. You can also prepare together.
DAY BY DAY

- DAY 1 · Approximately 130–160 km
Ha Giang → Dong Van
Check the bikes and equipment. Ride through the Quan Ba and Yen Minh valleys towards the Dong Van plateau.
Overnight: Dong Van - DAY 2 · Approximately 120–150 km
Dong Van → Bao Lac
Ma Pi Leng Pass, stops above the Nho Que canyon and the descent into the valleys.
Overnight: Bao Lac - DAY 3 · Approximately 130–160 km
Bao Lac → Cao Bang
The eastern mountain roads, allowing time for road conditions and stops.
Overnight: Cao Bang - DAY 4 · Approximately 150–180 km
Ban Gioc waterfall
Ride to the waterfall and along rural roads near the border, then return for the night.
Overnight: Cao Bang - DAY 5 · Approximately 130–160 km
Cao Bang → Ba Be
Continue to Ba Be National Park and lake. The riding approach and pace follow the weather.
Overnight: Ba Be - DAY 6 · Transfer
Ba Be and the return journey
A short visit to the lake, return the motorcycles and take the group transfer to Hanoi.

Experience riding winding mountain roads is required. Documents, licence requirements for the chosen bike and insurance cover are checked before confirmation.
