THE JOURNEY IN DETAIL

The mountain on the national flag.

Triglav is the highest point of Slovenia and the Julian Alps, the mountain on the national coat of arms. The route up the Krma valley to the Kredarica hut and the cabled summit ridge over Mali Triglav makes a perfect first taste of Alpine ground with no glacier or crampons. Four days, two nights in the mountains and a descent through the Vrata valley.

  • The cabled ridge over Mali Triglav
  • Kredarica, the highest hut in Slovenia
  • The Aljaž tower on the summit
  • The Vrata valley and Triglav’s north face
