THE JOURNEY IN DETAIL

Two four-thousanders in five days.

The Saas valley is where four-thousanders sit closest to the lifts. The Allalinhorn (4,027 m) is a morning from Mittelallalin, while the Weissmies (4,017 m) from Hohsaas offers a real glacier route through seracs and crevasses. Five days, two summits, one valley: a neat format for building altitude experience without long approaches.

  • The Allalinhorn from the world’s highest underground railway
  • The Trift glacier seracs on the Weissmies
  • A night at the Hohsaas mountain inn, 3,100 m
  • The Mischabel and Monte Rosa in view
