Three countries. One great loop.
A running journey around the Mont Blanc massif, staying in mountain huts and small hotels. Six long days on the trail require consistent preparation and confident movement on mountain terrain.

Join a group or arrange a separate departure for your own team. Before travelling, we get to know each other, discuss everyone's experience and find suitable dates. You can also prepare together.

Chamonix. Meet the team
Check equipment, preparation and the forecast. Review the route and possible shorter alternatives.
Overnight: Chamonix - DAY 2 · Mountain trail running
Les Houches → Les Contamines
The first section of the circuit. The group settles into a sustainable pace on the climbs.
Overnight: Les Contamines - DAY 3 · Mountain trail running
Les Contamines → Les Chapieux
Cross the Col du Bonhomme area, with stops according to conditions.
Overnight: Les Chapieux - DAY 4 · Mountain trail running
Les Chapieux → Courmayeur
Cross Col de la Seigne to the Italian side of the massif.
Overnight: Courmayeur - DAY 5 · A long mountain day
Courmayeur → La Fouly
Traverse the Italian balcony trails and cross Grand Col Ferret into Switzerland.
Overnight: La Fouly - DAY 6 · Mountain trail running
La Fouly → Trient
Continue via Champex-Lac. Bovine is the main option; more difficult alternatives are at the guide's discretion.
Overnight: Trient - DAY 7 · Final stage
Trient → Chamonix
Return to France over Col de Balme and complete the circuit on a suitable route.

YOUR PREPARATION
Arrive ready for the route.
For experienced trail runners. Your coach assesses readiness for consecutive days with substantial climbing. A 12-week training block is part of the preparation, not a guarantee of readiness.

What to prepare in advance
- Trail shoes already tested in training
- A running vest, soft flasks and rain protection
- Layers for changing weather and familiar trail food
- Poles, if suitable for the route and you know how to use them
