Trail running camps and journeys
Mountain running is about pace, awareness of the terrain and the pleasure of moving. Start with technique in Chamonix or prepare for the great circuit around Mont Blanc.
See the routesWho it is for
The Trail Camp introduces mountain running to people with an existing running base. The Tour du Mont Blanc requires experience of long sessions and confident movement on technical trails.
The pace of the journey
We alternate running and uphill hiking, practise descending and allow time for recovery. Each day's length reflects the weather and the team's ability.
What to bring
- Trail shoes already tested in training
- A running vest, soft flasks and rain protection
- Layers for changing weather and familiar trail food
- Poles, if suitable for the route and you know how to use them
