THE JOURNEY IN DETAIL

Pine trails above the Mediterranean.

The Troodos massif sits at the heart of Cyprus, topped by Mount Olympus (1,952 m) and threaded with pine forest and signed nature trails such as Artemis, Atalanti and Caledonia. In March there is still snow on the summit while the coast is at 20 °C; November brings a warm, dry autumn. A gentle camp for those new to trail or coming out of winter.

  • The Atalanti loop around Olympus at 1,700 m
  • The Caledonia trail to the falls through the Kryos gorge
  • The wine villages of Omodos and Koilani
  • The sea at Limassol, 40 minutes from the mountains
