Limestone, olives and the sea below.
The Serra de Tramuntana runs along Mallorca’s north-west coast — a UNESCO landscape of stone paths, terraces and the GR221 ‘Dry Stone Route’. April is mild: fields in flower, cool summits and few visitors. A camp about running technique on sharp limestone and long climbs above the sea.
- Puig de Massanella (1,364 m), the island’s highest accessible summit
- GR221 stages from Deià to Sóller
- The Torrent de Pareis canyon and Sa Calobra cove
- Post-run swims in Port de Sóller
